Australian batter Usman Khawaja has insisted he will “fight” the ICC in order to continue displaying the message ‘all lives are equal’ on his shoes.Khawaja has been wearing shoes with that message during practice as Australia prepares to face Pakistan in the first Test match in Perth.Khawaja has previously spoken on social media about the conflict in Gaza and his message has been interpreted as a pro-Palestinian one with the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in the West Bank.ICC rules prevent players and officials from displaying anything on their clothing or equipment without approval from the governing body with “potentially divisive” or political messages prohibited.
