A senior member of Hamas in Lebanon, Osama Hamdan, said that the tunnels in the Gaza Strip are resistant to flooding attempts, CNN reported. Hamdan reportedly said that “the tunnels were built by skilled engineers, who took into account all possible attacks, including flooding.”Meanwhile, a senior Biden administration official briefing reporters in Israel says it’s “safe to say” that Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar’s “days are numbered.” The unnamed official went on to say that Sinwar has “American blood on his hands and is holding American citizens hostage.”
