The White House condoled the death of Al Jazeera journalist who was killed in an Israeli strike on December 15. Al Jazeera said Samer Abu Daqqa, a cameraman, and Gaza bureau chief Wael Al-Dahdouh were wounded in a school in Khan Younis. The Qatar-based news network said that they were hit by “shrapnel from an Israeli missile attack.”“The network holds Israel accountable for systematically targeting and killing their journalists and their families,” Al Jazeera said in a statement.
