A drone strike damaged a merchant ship in the Arabian Sea, according to two maritime agencies. Maritime security firm Ambrey claimed that the Liberia-flagged chemical/products tanker with 21 Indians onboard “was Israel-affiliated”. Indian Navy officials said their warships are moving towards the merchant ship MV Chem Pluto in the Arabian Sea outside Indian EEZ. Rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip at southern Israel, setting off sirens in the largely evacuated border community of Kfar Aza. The IDF and Shin Bet said over 200 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives were captured in the Gaza Strip over the past week.
