Turkey Hits Iraq After 14 Soldiers Killed In Clashes With PKK | US “Training” Extremists In Syria?

The Turkish Air Force conducted airstrikes in northern Iraq and Syria on December 23. The Turkish defence ministry said the airstrikes destroyed 29 targets of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). The targets hit included bases, shelters and oil facilities believed to be used by PKK militants, according to the defence ministry. The Turkish attack took place after 12 soldiers were killed in the past two days in northern Iraq, according to the defence ministry.
