Heavy fighting has been reported in the West Bank city of Jenin, which Israeli forces have been repeatedly raiding for days. Freedom Theatre said the latest Israeli raid on the Jenin refugee camp is “[lighting] up the sky with flare bombs”. At least 70 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Maghazi camp in central Gaza, health ministry spokesperson Ashraf Al-Qidra said. The IDF reveals a large Hamas tunnel network in northern Gaza’s Jabaliya camp, where the bodies of five Israeli hostages were earlier recovered. Israel said it lost two soldiers during fighting in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the total IDF death toll in the ground offensive to 156.
