Iran’s New AI-Enabled “Abu Mahdi” Missile Gets 1,000km Range, Can Change Direction On Radio Commands

Iran has announced that its naval warships and missiles are now equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) after revealing hypersonic missiles. This move is part of an initiative to modernize the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, focusing on developing AI-enabled warships and long-range missile capabilities. The recent advancements, including the introduction of the 1,400-kilometer-range Fattah hypersonic missile in June, aim to enhance Iran’s defence technology.The Fattah-2 hypersonic ballistic missile, capable of flying at more than Mach 5, followed the initial unveiling. In late November, Iran added a new destroyer, the 1,400-ton Deilaman, to its Caspian Sea fleet.
