Chinese media reports say a new variant of Taiwanese missiles could strike deep inside mainland China. According to an article in a major Chinese military magazine, the new variant of Taiwan’s Hsiung Feng IIE missile can strike eastern, southern and central China. The Hsiung Feng IIE is a subsonic land-attack cruise missile which is among Taiwan’s longest-range missiles. However, the new variant of Hsiung Sheng has a reported range of up to 1,200km. The Hsiung Sheng missile is operated by the 791 Brigade based in Taoyuan and New Taipei City. Watch the video to find out more.
