The United States said on January 11 it would sell Javelin anti-tank missiles to Kosovo even as tensions ease with Serbia. The US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill told Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic about the deal, Vucic’s office stated. ”As Ambassador Hill stated, the State Department will send Pristina’s request to the US Congress, which begins the official procedure,” Vucic’s office added. The Serbian president, however, said that the deal between the US and Kosovo is a “big disappointment” for Serbia.
