North Korea has conducted a test of its underwater nuclear weapons system, state media KCNA reported on January 19. The test was carried out in response to joint military drills between the US, South Korea and Japan, KCNA wrote.Pyongyang said the joint military drills involving the three allies were “seriously threatening the security” of North Korea.
