IDF Takes Out “Hezbollah Official”, Uncovers Hamas Tunnel That “Housed Hostages” | Iran Warns Israel

The Israel Defense Forces continued its wave of strikes against Hezbollah sites in Lebanon in response to attacks on northern Israel. The IDF says its strike on southern Lebanon killed a Hezbollah member and a Lebanese national, after earlier saying two Hamas operatives were killed. The Iranian President has vowed revenge on Israel for a strike that killed five Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Syria on January 20. The IDF has released images showing the inside of a tunnel in Gaza’s Khan Younis, claiming Israeli hostages were previously held there by Hamas. Multiple ballistic missiles and rockets have been launched by Iranian-backed militias in Western Iraq targeting the al-Asad air base in Iraq. Meanwhile, Italian police on January 20 used water cannon to disperse pro-Palestinian demonstrators at a trade exhibition in the Italian city of Vicenza.
