A group of relatives of Israeli hostage stormed a parliamentary committee session in Jerusalem on January 22. Meanwhile, PM Netanyahu met with families of hostages held in Gaza and said that Hamas has not offered a concrete proposal for a release deal. The IDF is probing a protest by a group of reservists who put a sign on their armoured vehicles appearing to call on for a harsher approach to the war. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said Israel’s military must “dramatically increase the intensity of the war” at a party meeting, as per Haaretz.
