A Delaware court ordered Elon Musk to give up a Tesla compensation package potentially valued at over $55 billion. This comes following a shareholder lawsuit that accused CEO Musk and the company’s directors of breaching their duties. The court ruled that the pay package, awarded by Tesla’s board of directors, was a result of flawed negotiations and a waste of corporate assets. According to the Delaware court, the negotiations resulted in unjust enrichment of Musk. Musk has been acquiring land in Bastrop, Texas, to build his own village near Tesla, SpaceX and Boring Company facilities, according to reports.
