Counting of votes is underway for the Parliamentary elections in Pakistan. Independent candidates backed by the party of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan, are currently in the lead. But many remain skeptical as Imran Khan doesn’t have the backing of Pakistan’s powerful Army, who are infamous for making and breaking governments in the country.
