Israeli military launched multiple air strikes on many towns in the south of Lebanon, including areas in the Nabatieh Governorate. The strikes on southern villages, including Adshit, Sawwaneh and Shihabiyeh, occurred deeper inside the country than most previous strikes. Lebanon’s Civil Defence says four people were killed and 11 wounded in the Israeli raids. Israeli military’s air raids follow the deadly strikes in the city of Safed that originated from Lebanon earlier on Feb. 14. The attack also comes after Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah threatened on Feb. 13 to wipe off Israel from the map. Intense shelling is taking place in the vicinity of Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said. Spain and Ireland have asked the EU to “urgently” examine whether Israel is complying with its human rights obligations in Gaza.
