Syria’s Sham FM radio claims air defences intercepted several missiles over Damascus, in the second Israeli strike on the country within several hours. Israeli warplanes fired missiles at a Damascus apartment building from over the Golan Heights, Syria’s state-run SANA news agency reported. Meanwhile, an Israeli air strike on the village of Majdal Zun in southern Lebanon killed a woman on February 21, Lebanese state media reported. Israeli troops killed three Palestinian militants during an overnight raid in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, the military said. At least 67 people were killed in IsraelI strikes on central Gaza and Rafah on February 20-21, as per health officials and Associated Press journalists. Meanwhile, the IDF’s top lawyer issued a warning to commanders against illegal acts carried out by troops in the Gaza Strip.
