At least five people were killed near Gaza City when hit directly by airdropped US packages. The casualties were taken to Gaza City’s Al-Shifa hospital, the emergency room’s head nurse, Mohammed al-Sheikh, told AFP. At least one parachute failed to properly deploy and a parcel fell on them, as per reports. Israel’s military has said that its forces killed more than 30 Palestinian fighters in 24 hours in Gaza.
