Russia has aggressively relaunched its spy war with the West. Proof of it was in Moscow’s recent publication of a phone call in which two senior German air force officers discussed sending cruise missiles to Ukraine. But that was not the case when this war began two years ago. In 2022, Western agencies stole and publicised Moscow’s plans for Ukraine’s invasion. The West also outsmarted the Russian by expelling close to 600 diplomats since the Ukraine war began.
