Ukrainian shelling killed two people and wounded four in a village near the Russian border region of Belgorod on March 18. The region’s governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said Russian “air defences repelled an air attack by the Ukrainian army.” President Putin called for the inclusion of Russian war veterans who fought in Ukraine in future governmental structures. The Czech Agriculture Minister announced that the Czech Republic will propose a ban on importing Russian and Belarusian grain into the EU.
