Putin alleged the attackers were “travelling towards Ukraine,” where the Ukrainian side was preparing to receive them. Meanwhile, the Islamic State’s news agency described the attack on a Moscow concert hall as an attack on “a large crowd of Christians”. Amaq, a news agency linked with the IS, cited security sources to state that the attack resulted in “at least 300 Christians killed or wounded”.
