Israeli air strikes on Syria’s Aleppo province have killed more than 40 people, most of them soldiers, according to a war monitor. The fatalities included six members of the Lebanon’s Hezbollah group, according to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.The attacks at about 1:45am on March 29 targeted several areas in Aleppo’s countryside, Syria’s Ministry of Defence said. At least 36 Syrian soldiers were killed in what is being termed as deadliest toll for the Syrian army since the Israel-Hamas war began.State news agency SANA, quoting a military source, reported that “civilians and military personnel” were killed and wounded.
