Russia Deploys ‘Kh-69’ Cruise Missile To Ramp Up Strikes On Ukraine’s Critical Energy Infrastructure

Russia’s deployment of a new cruise missile in the ongoing Ukraine war has raised fresh concerns. The new cruise missile is reportedly “more dangerous” than the faster “Dagger” hypersonic ballistic missile. Russian Forces are deploying a new, long-range cruise missile as it steps up attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, according to the ISW. The ISW said Russia is producing and deploying a new subsonic cruise missile, dubbed the Kh-69. The US-based think tank said the air-to-surface subsonic missile had been used in strikes on April 11. The strike destroyed the transformer, turbines and generators of the Trypilska Thermal Power Plant (TPP) in Kyiv Oblast. Watch the video to find out more.
