Russian invasion of Ukraine has introduced a new method of waging war, the drone warfare. It has proven to be among the most impactful and cost-efficient on the battlefield, destroying military equipment with a few high-precision strikes. US lawmakers have proposed a dedicated US Army Drone Corps to revolutionise military strategy and counter evolving threats. The idea was part of a 2025 defence authorisation bill prepared by the House Armed Services Committee, emphasising on UAS in modern warfare.
