Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu slammed the Biden administration’s recent announcement that it won’t support sanctions against the International Criminal Court (ICC). Israel called for sanctions on ICC after the court’s top prosecutor requested Netanyahu’s arrest warrant over alleged war crimes.In an interview, Netanyahu said he was “surprised and disappointed” that a bill in US Congress to sanction the ICC had not yet been put forward. Meanwhile, Israel government would only reach a deal to bring back hostages if it would politically benefit them, the kin of a hostage claimed. Gil Dickmann, whose cousin Carmel Gat is captive, attributed the claim to National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi.
