US President Joe Biden has outlined the guidance for Ukraine’s use of US weapons to strike targets inside Russia. Biden insisted that the US weapons would not be used to attack the Kremlin in Moscow or anywhere deeper beyond the border regions.Biden also vowed never to abandon international alliances or Ukraine in its fight against Russia, a pointed swipe at his election rival Donald Trump.US officials had announced on May 30 that Washington had partially lifted its restrictions to enable Ukraine to defend its eastern Kharkiv region.The authorisation marks change in policy by Biden, who had steadfastly refused to allow Ukraine to use US weaponry for strikes inside Russia. America is the biggest supplier of weapons to Ukraine in its battle against Russia.
