Yemen’s Houthi militants struck a Palau-flagged cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden on June 13. The Iran-aligned group’s military spokesman Yahya Sarea also confirmed the hit. While the crew fought the fire, an aircraft from the US Navy’s Philippine Sea warship evacuated the injured mariner to a partner force ship. CENTCOM also said, the vessel, loaded with wood construction material, was sailing to Italy at the time of the attack. Watch the video to find out more.
