Slovakia’s defence ministry lodged a criminal complaint against former PM Eduard Heger and his Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad for giving Ukraine fighter jets. Deputy Defence Minister Igor Melicher said the Slovak government views the previous administration’s military provision to Ukraine as an act of treason. Melicher said that the agency will initiate criminal cases against former Minister Jaroslav Nad. Melicher clarified that the Slovak government will file three criminal lawsuits against the Eduard Heger government as a collective body. According to a Washington Post (WaPo) report, US restrictions on the use of supplied weapons allegedly hinder Ukraine from targeting key Russian airbases.
