US presidential candidates Joe Biden and Donald Trump locked horns in their first showdown in the run-up to the November polls. However, the fiery election debate didn’t seem to have worked in favour of 81-year-old Biden who is battling widespread concerns over his age. Biden seemingly struggled throughout much of the debate that had been a gambit by his campaign to reset the narrative around the race. A hoarse-sounding Biden verbally stumbled early on in the presidential debate, while Trump rattled off a series of attacks, including falsehoods. Some reports claim the Democrats are actively discussing about replacing Biden on the ticket.
