Lebanon’s Hezbollah said it targeted several Israeli military sites with over 200 rockets and a squadron of “explosive drones” on July 4. A Hezbollah source told Al Jazeera that the group launched over 200 rockets and 20 drones at military bases in northern Israel in an hour. The Iran-backed Hezbollah said “more than 200 rockets of various types” were fired at five Israeli bases across the border including the Golan Heights. The IDF claims most of the projectiles were intercepted but that “fires broke out in a number of areas in northern Israel”.
