Russia’s air defences intercepted 101 Ukrainian drones over eight regions and the Sea of Azov in the early hours of Sept. 21, Moscow’s defence ministry said. The drones, as per the Russian defence ministry, were downed over Bryansk, Belgorod, Crimea, and Kursk, among other regions. Meanwhile, Ukraine for the first time took part in a major anti-drone exercise held by NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation ) this week, as per reports. The drills at a Dutch military base involved more than 20 countries and some 50 companies.During the drills, participants tested cutting-edge systems to detect and counter drones and assessed how they work together. The 11-day drills were held as the critical role of drones in the Ukraine war was demonstrated once again.
