Hamas’s Gaza-based leader Yahya Sinwar has reportedly been incommunicado for a relatively long time, according Hebrew media outlets cited by the Times of Israel. The report added that Israel is investigating the possibility, though currently speculative and unsupported by hard evidence, that Sinwar is dead. Kan, Haaretz, Maariv and Walla news reported that the IDF Military Intelligence Directorate is claiming Sinwar was possibly killed in IDF strikes in Gaza. However, Israel’s Shin Bet agency believes that Yahya Sinwar is still alive, the Times of Israel reported.
