Israel’s military said it had hit Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters in the Lebanese capital Beirut, as reports emerged that Hashem Safieddine, the presumed successor to slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, was targeted during airstrikes in the Dahieh suburb.
