Video footage released by the Israeli army on 4 November shows soldiers, tanks and armoured vehicles taking part in a ground assault on the outskirts of southern Lebanon. The Lebanese health ministry reported on 3 November that the death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon has reached 2,986, with 13,402 people injured since October 2023. Among those killed, at least 772 were women and children, with 18 deaths and 83 injuries recorded in the past 24 hours alone.
