Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Beijing of knowing Chinese citizens were being recruited to fight for Russia in Ukraine. At least 163 Chinese nationals are allegedly serving in Russian units, with two recently captured in Donetsk. One reportedly paid $3,000 for recruitment. Zelensky said Beijing was aware of recruitment via social media. China denied involvement, calling Zelensky’s remarks “irresponsible.” Zelensky warned Russia was expanding the war by involving China, and proposed a POW exchange involving the captured Chinese fighters. 00:00 – INTRODUCTION02:24 – ‘CHINESE NATIONALS’ PAID $3000 TO JOIN RUSSIA’S ARMY?04:49 – RUSSIA EXPANDING WAR BY “DRAGGING CHINA” INTO THE CONFLICTn18oc_world n18oc_crux
