On September 21, an eight-meter-deep sinkhole appeared on a road in Sasang-gu, Busan, during heavy rainfall, leading to the fall of two trucks, including a drainage vehicle from the Busan Fire Department. The sinkhole measured approximately 10 meters wide and five meters long, with over 200mm of rain reported in the area. Fortunately, fire officials confirmed that there were no casualties. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the sinkhole to prevent future incidents.
