The Ukrainian Navy released a video showcasing the Corvette ‘Ivan Mazepa’ undergoing trials. Commander Oleksii Neizhpapa praised the vessel’s “excellent performance” and highlighted its modern weapon systems, including a 76-mm OTO Melara artillery capable of firing 120 rounds per minute and a Gokdeniz 35-mm anti-aircraft gun. Upgrades focused on enhancing combat efficiency and protection. The ship, built by Turkey, began construction in January 2021.
