Excellent EDC light with many functions

I have been playing with this light for a couple days now. At this price point I am very satisfied as a multifunction EDC light. It is the size of a Zippo lighter and fits in the small pocket of my jeans just like a Zippo. It is not very intuitive figuring out the functions but I think I will have a teenager show me. The magnetic base is sweet for auto repair as well as the pivoting head getting the light where you need it. It also has many different functions and colors for various uses. What I like most is the dimmer wheel allows the light go from dim to full power without steps. One can clip it to your shirt, hat brim, or any equipment. I no longer have to put a flashlight in my teeth to hold it when working finally. There is also a way to lock-out the switch from turning on in your pocket.Only negative is that it needs a teenager to figure out how to use all the functions and the instructions are not much help. It is not very intuitive.I showed it to a friend and he was so impressed he bought one immediately.

    An impressive and innovative design.

Works well and convenient to carry in a pocket. Has about every possible innovative feature . Once you train yourself on it it is easy to use. With a broad array of adjustable beam colors, brightness , and attachment options I think about the only possible future enhancement would be to add a solar panel on one side. Overall it is impressive in every way. I like the fact that the battery can be replaced if that is ever required. The only negative I could find is that if a lanyard is attached it interferes with seating of the attaching magnet to a flat surface. The attach point should be recessed. But I doubt many would use the lanyard feature.

Versatile, light weight, bright & small

Size of a cigarette lighter. Very versatile. Can rotate the light . I can clip it on my cap, use the magnet to attach it to any metal surface. Very bright. A VERY cool light. Don’t see much use for the alternating red & blue light, would rather stay all red.

    Good quality except…

Works great. Fits in my little change pocket in my pants so this had become my EDC flashlight because I can carry it unobtrusively. I guess my one gripe is that the little slide that covers the charging port is plastic and janky while the rest of the flashlight seems to be built well. The slide cover does not feel quality and I would not rely on it the even keep pocket lint out of the charging port let alone water. It just slides too easy and cheapens the feel of what otherwise would feel like a pretty nice quality flashlight. Other than that, I haven’t yet experienced and major issues and continues to be my everyday carry. Did I mention it gets BRIGHT?

    Small, Durable, and Very Useful

I bought this back in August 2025, and I’ve used it countless times since for all kinds of situations. I’ve used it at work when it’s dark outside to spot trash cans, and at one point it even fell out of my pocket and got run over by a golf cart. Aside from a few dings that honestly add some character, it still works perfectly.I’ve also taken it camping, and it’s amazing at night. I can clip it onto my hat and instantly have hands-free light without the bulk or weight of a traditional headlamp. The adjustable brightness is a huge plus. It’s great for keeping the light dim around a campfire while making s’mores or hotdogs without blinding everyone. On top of that, I’ve used it a lot while building and working on PCs. It’s perfect for seeing cables and understanding the layout inside a case, especially in tight or poorly lit spaces. This flashlight is incredibly small but surprisingly powerful and versatile. I haven’t had a need for the RGB feature yet, but it’s a cool option to have if I ever do.Overall, this is an excellent flashlight. I 1000% recommend it to anyone looking for something compact, durable, and genuinely useful.

    Best edc light

This flashlight is so small you can clip it to the zipper of your jacket and not even notice it is there. It’s the size of a zippo lighter and packs 400 lumens with strobe functions and the rgb lets you pick any color you want. Several different flashing modes and customization of the colors. This tiny light is packed with great features. Absolutely the best edc light for an incredible price. For everything this little flashlight can do you can’t go wrong. Very sturdy and feels great in the hand. I have no doubt it will last a long time and packs a punch. Just put it in your pocket and you will not even notice it’s there. If they could have fit a lazer and a real UV light in it you wouldn’t need anything else. I guarantee you will absolutely love it. And for the price you can get a few for friends and family, makes a great gift…!!!

    Fantastic little flashlight

I work in IT, and I’m frequently peering (or crawling) into dark corners. This little flashlight has been a life saver. Incredibly bright, with nice heft and very sturdy (I’ve dropped it onto concrete more than once, and it tanks the impacts like a champ without showing any damage), and it’s easy to use. I especially like the “safety” switch that prevents it from turning on until you push it up one notch. And I love the adjustable pocket clip and magnetic mounting point on the base. I’ve clipped it to a shirt pocket, to a headband (seriously), and stuck it to the inside of several server racks to give myself good lighting without having to hold it. The rotating head really lets you put the light where it needs to be, and the adjustable light intensity helps give you just the light you need.Being able to switch it to colored lights is fun, but not terribly useful for me. That’s not a complaint, mind you…it’s just not a feature I have any use for.The battery life is excellent. I’ve run it for almost an hour without the intensity of the light dimming, and it recharged to full in under twenty minutes. Finally, the form factor is great. With previous flashlights, I’ve always had to hunt for someplace to carry them when not in use, or stick them in my bag. This one just drops in a pocket and I forget it’s there until I need it.If you’re looking for a pocket flashlight, this one is well worth the money.

one of the best modern innovations in flashlights at a great price point

Super compact and carryable, quite bright, and the combination of the swivel clip, rotatable output, and the strong magnetic base make it really user-friendly to wear on a hat as a headlamp, stuck to a car while working on something, or simply used handheld. The battery life isn’t incredible, but it’s easy to charge and is fine at $20. I do wish the brightness dial smoothly changed the brightness, or at least gave more in-between levels. As it is, you only have a very bright max brightness and a slightly dimmer low setting, a candlelight brightness setting would be a nice addition. The extra effects seem kinda pointless and make using them finnicky to switch through. It’d be nice to just have the red light setting, but having to switch around colors like orange and pink make it a hassle to use anything other than the default white light.

    Love it!!!

Great little flashlight! Rechargeable, easy to use, very bright and the design affords itself to multiple uses! Excellent little device!Addition:We test travel equipment in the harshest environments including in Ukraine right now but for business travel as well – how a mouse works for a person on an aircraft, a case can carry what is needed easily, even how multiple water filters worked for travel and for extreme camping. This flashlight was a surprise. Now that I have had a week to absolutely abuse it, use it on an airplane, take it through multiple TSA (and the EU equivalent) checkpoints, I bought one for my “always travel” case! Yep, that good!Why?1.) Extremely compact! Yes, a little on the heavy side for its size but we found that a PLUS not a minus – it has a “well built, I can take it” feel. Lightening / cooling strips are cut into the back of the light.2.) Optional light usage abilities – you can dim the light with a simple turn of a wheel on the left, the light rotates 180 degrees and has two methods to turn off – the button and the lock switch.3.) The lock switch has the multiple functions of “off/locked”, “on” and “expose charger. This switch is a double-edged sword so to speak as it is much more robust than the rubber cap over a USB port but if it does break it seems it will make the light useless. It SEEMS strong and since it sits flush it should be fine but it is plastic and when things can go wrong they tend to go wrong.4.) Adjustment wheels sits in a really nice position except when you are wearing gloves; this is not a huge problem as we find all but the simple and largest gear is difficult with extreme cold weather gear. It also was designed perfectly (without gloves) not to be too high that it interferes with carry but high enough to find in the pitch dark.5.) Worked fine after sitting out in a Texas sun for hours and HOT (not recommended, by the way, but tested) and works fine in extreme cold weather even after sitting out in it exposed to all of the elements.6.) The clip is another part that seems frail but has held up. It WILL be something to watch for in the future.Overall, slightly over-engineered for combat but it held up and works fine! Therefore, rough camping should not be a problem though #6 is still a question (the clip). Between the rotating light and the ability to dim quickly it works great. We would have LOVED a RED light ability with “lock on RED” / “lock on white” as we really would have loved to use this for reading maps and searching without losing our night sight! The reason for the “red light lock” is obvious as those lights that you have to cycle through “white” to get “red” are worthless when keeping your night vision is important – one flash of the white and your eyes are screwed and cycling through with your eyes closed is stupid and impossible under stress.(Disclosure – we do not get any compensation for reviews – ZERO, NOTHING; we get the products either under our own purchase or from companies that ask for the harshest of testing. We do send some back to the company at our own expense if a product shows promise but has issues that we feel can be corrected to make a good product awesome if the company can analyze the failure.)

    Marketing works.

That’s the only explanation I have for why this has 4,500 reviews with an average of 4.5 stars.Rectangular lights are the thing right now. That’s good, right? They don’t roll around when you put them down. They sit nicely in your pocket. When the battery fails, you just throw the whole thing away. Crap. That’s actually bad. Then you have to buy a whole new light. It also means you can’t carry a spare battery or charge one while using a second. Mixed bag on the shape, then.Since we’ve already mentioned the battery, let’s get this out of the way.1) COME ON! I just charged this!–2) Didn’t I just charge this?–3) Charging has happened.4) When was the last time I charged this?5) It’s been so long. I’ve forgotten how to charge this. This flashlight is number 2. For something that looks like it should be mostly battery, I get the feeling it’s mostly just aluminum flashlight body. While we’re still battery adjacent, let talk about the lock switch/charging port cover. It clicks into all three positions. It does what it’s supposed to, unless you brush it against anything. The power button is actually harder to actuate than the switch. The power button is the only control on this flashlight I don’t really have a problem with. It works, that’s all. No click. No tactile feedback. Press it far enough, it gets brighter near you. Press again and it gets darker. It has lots of modes. Most people will never use them. It’s there for marketing purposes and to woo the flashnerds like me, convince us that it’s a Serious Product worth consideration. I think the absolute best mode feature is that power is just click on/click off. I’m tired of flashlights with double-click for on, hold for off, or all the other nonsense combos. When someone asks for your flashlight and you have to tell them “Tap the button to Shave and a Haircut”, they look at you like you’re a moron. They might be right. “I couldn’t figure out how to turn off your 5000 lumen flashlight so i just sat it on the roll of paper towels in your trunk.”The brightness wheel also does what it’s supposed to. The only issue with it is that, like a USB A plug, one side is the opposite of the other, so you’re going to scroll it the wrong way at first. Every. Dang. Time. I guess if you have a group of friends trying to slow dance to One More Night by Phil Collins, you could set it to RGB mode and use the wheel to scroll through the colors and give off some mood lighting as you watch them while exploring your aloneness.Brightness is good. From 3 feet away, it’s a nice even-brightness 2 ft. circle that gradually gets dimmer outside of that. No artifacts or lines. Perfect for a short (BATTERY) walk, rummaging around a dark cupboard, or as a small work light. And that’s where this thing excels. The magnet strength is great, and it fits in areas where my much bigger magnetic work lights don’t. I changed a headlight recently and it was perfect. Found something to stick it to in a cramped area, swiveled the head, and I could see what I was doing. It’s a great mini worklight. It even has a plastic base cap over the magnet so there’s less chance of scratching anything. The only other design feature to speak of is the clip. Unfortunately, I need to speak about the clip. It’s terrible. This is the worst clip I’ve ever seen. It uses a magnet, moving parts, is not removeable, doesn’t open wide enough, and is off-center from the center of gravity. It swivels through a 180 degree arc, which would be nice, but it’s fiddly to get it to do that, I’m not sure you can get it over anything thicker than a t-shirt collar without bending it, and since you can’t remove it, if you bend it, it’s just going to stay bent. I don’t trust clipping this on any kind of thick pants pocket or workwear, and definitely not a hat brim. The clip is also off center so whatever you clip it to, it will start slipping. I haven’t figured out why I would clip it to anything with the clip in its “stowed” position on the skinny side. The clip uselessness evolved. This is an odd flashlight. There’s even some kind of rail on the bottom that reeks of abandoned idea/accessory. It’s almost a fidget spinner with an okay flashlight inside. There’s 5 moving parts, plus the lanyard, which also has a moving part on it. I do not like this as and EDC light. Would I buy it again? No. Not a chance. I will keep it around as a micro work light, but I’ve got plenty of other options for EDC.3.5 Stars. It’s above dead average, but not by a lot.
